But hark, what of us? Where nave we been for the last 5 or 7
years...or since October 91' to be precise! [the last time an
issue of Inwards surfaced Den and Angie were still running the
Queen Vic).Hands up who'd thought we'd done a runner Ronnie
Biggs-style with all your lolly?...Cheers then ,thanks for the
vote of no confidence. So had the editors of INWARDS committed
ritual suicide or perhaps entered the trappings of a monastic
lifestyle? I should cocoa! The real reasons for the delay in
publishing issue 4 laid in lack of band actvity (at least we
got something to show for the last 18 months you cheeky wee
shites! - Bruce) and work commitments/hic-ups (editors adopt
serious tone of voice unheralded in Inwards history). Great
difficulty was experienced in assembling issue 4. The fanzine was
typed and part designed at Jason's place of work (bloody day
jobs!). As a result of increased work pressure followed
unaviodably by redundancy (whoops,no day job!) issue 4 was badly
hampered until other means of getting the job done could be
found . Apologies for the delay and also to those who never had a
reply to their letters requesting the whereabouts of issue 4. It
was becoming a joke , writing to readers giving an expected date of
publication only for the issue not to materialise for the above
reasons. Thankfully things seem to be Hunky Dory now so please
start writing to us again!
Anyway, thats enough of our sob story...we won't be taking up
the option of voluntary euthanasia quite just yet (hangings to
good for 'em! - Readers voice). On with the show...ONWARDS and
INWARDS tally ho!!
